GlobalShop 2010 Revisited

Southern Imperial was on display at GlobalShop 2010 in Las Vegas from March 10-12, 2010. We enjoyed getting to see many of our current customers and potential customers and showing them our latest display and fixture solutions. The booth featured many new products such as hooks, label solutions, shelf management, merchandising, displays, and sign holders, as well as some of our custom projects we have done over the past year.

This year was also unique because we introduced our new division – Intelligent Loss Prevention (ILP) – to our customers. Intelligent Loss Prevention encourages retailers to ‘rethink shrink’ by getting on the offensive and turn loss prevention into a revenue generator. ILP was developed to meet the need for secure displays that go beyond lock and key. Traditional anti-theft devices decrease product availability, reducing sales and increasing handling time and cost. ILP’s intelligent displays allow for open merchandising, maximizing sales potential while deterring theft through the detection of irregular product removal.
